Public Affairs Nepal is an investment promotion and facilitation organization dedicated to positioning Nepal as a competitive destination for foreign direct investment. Modeled on the world's leading economic development boards, we serve as the bridge between international investors and Nepal's institutions — the Department of Industry, Investment Board Nepal, the One Stop Service Centre, Nepal Rastra Bank, and beyond.
We exist because entering a new market should be a guided journey, not a maze. Our team combines policy expertise, regulatory knowledge, and on-the-ground networks to help businesses discover opportunities, navigate approvals, and grow with confidence in Nepal.

What We Do
Investment Promotion
We showcase Nepal's strongest investment cases to the world — hydropower and clean energy, tourism, ICT, agro-processing, manufacturing, and infrastructure. Through market intelligence, sector reports, roadshows, and investor outreach, we help global businesses see what Nepal offers: a strategic position between India and China, 83,000 MW of hydropower potential, a young workforce, and steadily liberalizing investment policy.
Facilitation & Aftercare
We walk with investors through every step of establishment — FDI approval, company registration, PAN/VAT, central-bank recording, industry licensing, visas, and land — coordinating with the One Stop Service Centre and relevant agencies so timelines are met and surprises are avoided. And we stay engaged after setup, supporting expansion, repatriation, and issue resolution.
Policy Advocacy & Ecosystem Building
We work with government, development partners, chambers, and industry to improve Nepal's investment climate — contributing evidence-based input on regulations, championing reforms like the Automatic Route, and convening dialogues that connect investors' real-world experience with policymakers.
